What you'll learn
- Identify all constraints in a real-world problem and represent each as an equation or inequality in two variables
- Graph a system of linear inequalities and shade the feasible region — the set of all points satisfying all constraints simultaneously
- Identify specific points in the feasible region and interpret them as viable solutions in context
- Identify points outside the feasible region and explain why they are non-viable solutions
- Interpret boundary lines of the feasible region as equality constraints and determine whether they are included (solid line) or excluded (dashed line)
